Theft Deterrent Product Limited Warranty by Open Road
Give yourself an extra layer of protection for your new investment with theft coverage. This product combines the protection of a theft deterrent system with the protection of a Product Limited Warranty to help reduce the chance that your trailer will be stolen, and to protect you from the expenses and inconvenience of a trailer theft should it occur.
Total Loss Benefit:
- If the Theft Deterrent Product is purchased for your trailer and the trailer is stolen during the term of the product's limited warranty, and:
- The trailer is not recovered within thirty (30) days of the date of loss, or
- The trailer is recovered but is declared a total loss by your primary insurance carrier, the product limited warranty will pay the lesser of:
- The benefit amount selected on the product warranty, or
- The trailer purchase price listed on the declarations page of the product limited warranty.
- Benefit coverages up to $5,000.00 – benefit can not exceed the trailer cost.
- Pays benefit on the 31st day if the trailer is not located or if it is declared a total loss (A police report is needed to show the date of loss)
