National Trailer Source All-Star Team is an incredible opportunity for junior high and high school rodeo athletes who are passionate about the western industry. The All-Star Team aims to support young athletes whose families pull National Trailer Source trailers. Over the years, this position has become highly competitive and sought-after.
To be eligible to apply for the All-Star Team, you need to meet certain requirements. First, you should be in junior high or high school, and you must participate in the Patch Program. Additionally, your family must have purchased a trailer from either NRS Trailers or P&P Trailer Sales, now National Trailer Source. Each applicant must also submit an autobiography, a resume, and two reference letters, The selection process is highly competitive, and a panel reviews each application, taking into consideration the applicant’s athletic ability, their participation as a Trailer Team/Patch Team member, and their character inside and outside of the arena.
If you're interested in applying for the All-Star Team, make sure to mark your calendar as the application period opens on April 1, 2023, and closes on April 31, 2023. Team announcements will be made on May 12, 2023. If you're selected to be part of the team, you must attend the All-Star Team weekend at NRS Ranch in Decatur, Texas, on August 4-5, 2023, which is a mandatory event where team members get to meet each other, hear from pro-rodeo athletes, get fitted for their All-Star Team hats, boots, shirts, and jackets, and take team photos.
Once you're a member of the All-Star Team, there are certain rules and expectations that you need to follow. For instance, you must stay academically eligible to compete and possess good sportsmanship inside and outside of the arena. Also, no profanity, offensive slurs, and/or bullying will be tolerated, and usage of alcohol or other illegal substances is not allowed. You must also wear National Trailer Source and All-Star Team sponsor patches at all events.
